51.Incorporating Yoga and Stretching into Your Fitness Routine: Benefits and Best Practices
Hey there, dear friend! It's Mike again. Thank you for exploring my last blog post, "Bodyweight Workouts for Anywhere, anytime: No Gym Required." I'm thrilled to reconnect, and today, I'm diving into a fresh topic: "Incorporating Yoga and Stretching into Your Fitness Routine: Benefits and Best Practices". Your insights are always appreciated, so let's start by sharing your experience during yoga and stretching exercise in the comments below!
It is important the work of
flexibility in our routine and some people have not improved this capacity,
because it could be bored or maybe it does not the correct relation between others
as strength or cardio. However, it it’s a great to develop our stretching, reduce
injuries and improves the mobility in general. If you don’t know yet how to
improve in your workout, I´ll help you with the next suggestions:
Firstly, don’t go to one class
or group class that you don’t like it. It could sound obviously but, there are
some people who thinks only in this solution to make “Yoga or stretching”. As I
said in a lot of blogs, you must identify what your favorite work out is. So,
you should avoid it if it doesn’t fill you.
Secondly, as a beginner in these kinds of exercises, I integrated in an easy way: At the end or begin of my workout. And it was the best solution, because I usually start doing some “mobility warms up” implementing a lot of variety of these exercises, and it has been helping a lot with my consistency of flexibility. Also, I used to finish my work out, integrating the cool down with passive stretching, despite this I changed at the start for more activation and enjoying.
Third, you can watch some videos on Youtube if you want to start alone in your home. I have one client who likes make yoga at the end of the day. It is the part of the night routine, and it helps to reduce the anxiety levels, stress, and he works in a separate way from the principal training. So, it will be calm your mind and prepare to your sleep.
The last part are the benefits and of these exercises. As you have read, there are a lot in the movement and mind. You will be reducing the back pain (knee, hip, or another articulation). It has the same benefits as the strength and cardio for your system (cardiovascular, bones, muscles, brain) and it could boost your energy if you train in morning or calm your mood if you are angry.
